Introducing Loads of Care: A New Way to Help with Laundry

At A+ Laundry, we’ve always believed laundry is about more than clean clothes. It’s about giving people time back.

Over the past year, our A+ Laundry community has shown us how meaningful it can be to make laundry easier for someone. Now, in addition to the laundry services we provide every day, we’ve created a way for you to help: Loads of Care.

A New Way to Help When Life Is Full

When someone welcomes a new baby, is recovering from surgery or illness, is caring for a family member, experiences a loss, or simply has more on their plate than usual, friends and family often want to help with the everyday things at home.

Laundry is one of those things that quietly keeps piling up.

Loads of Care gives friends, family, coworkers, and communities an easy way to come together and help take laundry off someone’s list.

How Loads of Care Works

There are three ways to provide support:

• Set a specific amount of laundry care based on the recipient’s needs.

• Keep the support open-ended so friends and family can contribute as much as they’d like.

• Use money that has already been collected to provide laundry care.

Once the campaign is created, it can be shared with friends, family, coworkers, a school community, synagogue, church, neighborhood, or other group.

The recipient can then schedule laundry pickup and delivery when they need it.

From A+ Laundry to Loads of Care

Loads of Care grew directly from what we’ve learned at A+ Laundry: taking laundry off someone’s plate can make a meaningful difference.

We’re starting here in Atlanta, where Loads of Care laundry service is fulfilled by the A+ Laundry team, with plans to bring Loads of Care to more communities.

Our hope is simple: when people ask, “What can we do to help?”, laundry can be one of the answers.
